The Tah Tsai, has tender, sweet tasting stalks and leaves that are commonly used in high quality dishes and in salad mixes. The spoon-shaped, dark green, evenly spaced leaves form a plant worthy to be grown for its decorative value. This plant is high in calcium and vitamin content. It is excellent in stir-fry and in salad mixes. It prefers rich, moist, well drained soil with lots of organic matter. Tah Tsai can be harvested at almost any stage of its growth.
